All Holland America Line guests must have passports for travel commencing on or after January 8, 2007. A passport will be required by the United States Department of State for all air and sea travel as of January 8, 2007. Denmark and Norway also require all United States Citizens to present a valid passport that will not expire within 6 months of the last day of travel.

Guests under 21 years of age must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or chaperone who is at least 25 years old. Please note that documentary evidence of relationship and permission for a child to travel is required when only one parent is traveling with the child.

Smoking is allowed in your stateroom and in designated areas on outside decks. Smoking is not permitted in public areas such as the main dining room, bars and show venues.

Club Hal provides a wide variety of exciting activities for kids ages 5 to 12. All activities are supervised by permanent, full-time Club Hal directors and assistants. Baby-sitting services are available for a small surcharge and must be booked in advance.
